Just look at these hypocritical Republicans running around trying to distance themselves from the actual consequences of the anti-abortion hysteria they've been fanning for decades.

They pushed for this, they got it, and now they're shocked at the political consequences.

Even as certain Republican leaders were saying the abortion ban cannot stand, others were voting to make sure the ban stays in place.

Meanwhile, nearly every day, I read news stories about women whose lives and healths were put at extreme risk because they couldn't get abortions even when they were carrying fetuses with such severe birth defects that they could not possibly live.

I hope all this wakes Republican women up. I hope they turn out in droves and vote to secure their bodily autonomy and their health. And that means voting against Republicans.
