Just as an aside to your very good story, I grew up inspired by The Hiding Place and Corrie ten Boom.

I think I first read her book when I was eight or nine. I continued reading it as I grew up, getting more out of it later on.

I was probably 10 or 11 when she came and spoke at our church and I remember being frightened because she was so very old and stooped.

Many years later I had the opportunity to visit the ten Boom house which is now an open museum.

I would recommend the experience highly. For me it was right up there with visiting the Anne Frank house.
