Just a few moments ago, I saw another story about another public library in a Republican state restricting the Heartstopper graphic novels, removing them from the youth section of the library and requiring parental permission for them to be checked out by anyone under 18.

The library board cited high levels of sexuality in the graphic novels, which are widely regarded as innocent and chaste.

It's just absurd the lengths that people will do to pretend that same-sex relationships are ipso facto perverse or sexualized – Even when no sex is described or depicted, as in this case.
