I've struck the phrase from my writing, frankly. When I use it with the meaning that I'm thinking about, people don't know what I'm talking about. And I don't see any reason to use the new meaning of posing or raising the question. Because I can simply write posing or raising.

It's a shame, really.

But I can still get my point across by talking about circular reasoning or presupposition. So I just do that instead.
