I’ve recently been working with a screenwriter who is adapting some of my writing for a film. We’ve had a couple of Zoom readings with large casts of actors, most of whom work on Broadway at least part of the time.

They all seem so artistically frustrated and eager to tackle any creative project. Acting isn’t just a job; it’s a creative, artistic calling. And all the actors I know are just feeling so incredibly bad not to be able to express themselves.

I have to believe things are going to get better. They must! Hang in there.
