I've had far too many conversations lately (but not limited to lately) with cisgender, straight people who sef-define as liberals or progressives but who don't have clue one about supporting queer people in times like this.

I mostly try to brush it off. Sometimes, I get pretty testy.

But I haven't done is spell it out like you have.
