It’s worth noting that the same religious forces that are working to so severely restrict abortion in Poland are moving hand in hand with the people who are declaring LGBT free zones and inciting mob violence against LGBTQ people.

People are often afraid to name the direct cause, but it is without any serious question the hierarchy of the Catholic Church in Poland. Catholic priests and bishops are directly inciting inciting anti-LGBTQ violence and directly working to stop abortions.

This is not happening in a vacuum.
