It's worth noting that recent polling shows that a very large majority of cisgender gay men are fully in support of transgender rights and equality. Also, every queer human rights group in the United States backs equality for trans people. It's understandable that the loud minority of cisgender gay men who are transphobic alienate you.

They alienate me, and I'm a cisgender gay man.

So is the founder and executive director of the organization I was writing about in my comment. Many of their case workers are cisgender lesbians. One of the case workers I interviewed is a cisgender gay man who is a psychologist.

They're not loud, and they never were. But at least according to pretty reliable statistics, their high levels of support for all queer people, especially trans people, is not unusual for cisgender gay people.

Worth thinking about when asshole gay transphobes start taking up more than their fair share of oxygen.
