But this is probably also a good time to point out that LGBTQ advocacy organizations in Europe all rate Italy as the most homophobic nation on the continent outside of former Soviet block nations. Because of the evil influence of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy, queer people are unable to adopt children and anti-violence legislation has been blocked.

Advocates say queer bashing in Italy has reached crisis proportions.

The Roman Catholic Church stubbornly stands in the way of measures to make life better for us in Italy, as in the United States. Sadly, in Italy the church has more power to inflict its evil belief system.
