It’s very sad that so few Americans are familiar with even the profound differences between say, Cuban, Puerto Rican, and Mexican cultures. They’re so distinct from one another!

Hell, I think most white Americans don’t even know Puerto Ricans ARE American.

And the assumption that white Americans are the default and that English is sacred completely overlooks the rather sordid history of our southern border regions.
