It’s tough. I thought about including in this article some of the details of a knock-down-drag out written altercation I had with a Catholic nun who used to counsel to patience with abhorrent religious doctrines. She thought of herself as an ally while at the same time enabling persecution and oppression. She eventually came to her senses, but the process was fraught. It’s difficult to see how tightly some people cling to evil.
