It's thrilling to dream, to imagine and envision the possible. Waking up is hard, especially when you know the dream is so unrealistic.

But we can get there, one step at a time, one struggle at a time. Eventually! The only way to get there is to dare to dream, and to accept the subsequent, inevitable pain.

At least, that's how I've experienced things.
