It’s so hard for me to understand how any white person in the United States could have lived through the past year without internalizing something about white privilege and Black trauma.

Has George Floyd’s murder taught us nothing?

Sometimes it feels like that is the case.

Literally nothing is happening with fundamental police reform. Some police departments like in New York City (which is especially racist and vicious) are actually seeing increased budgets rather than any defunding.

Too many white people are just back to business as usual, not giving a shit.
