It’s shocking, Tracy Aston.

The frontiers of HIV activism in the developed world are supposed to center around PrEP access and near total viral suppression on a population level.

In every population center where PrEP access has been aggressively funded, new HIV infection rates have crashed, to near zero.

And contrary to some reports, the incidence of other STIs doesn’t track with PrEP introduction. In fact, in some populations we’ve seen other STI rates go down after aggressive PrEP introduction, probably because of more frequent contact with the medical system among PrEP users.

But instead of working for all that in the United States, we’re faced with going backwards on basic access to treatment for people who are already infected.

Trump’s a business person?

What part of his brilliant business acumen misses the point that if HIVipositive people aren’t in treatment, then the virus will spread rapidly? That will cost a fortune in public health money, even if you discount the human toll.

It’s just all so senseless.

Not only are the people running the US right now morally bankrupt, they’re idiots.

We need a diapered Trump baby flying over DC right now.
