It's probably worth noting here that many common definitions of bisexuality and pansexuality are the same or similar. Many people who identify as bisexual say they tend to be attracted to people across a range of gender in the same way as people who identify as pansexual. It's interesting that while the word bisexual might look like it's rooted in a binary view of gender, most people who wear the label say that it is not.
