It’s not automatic. On a PC or a Mac, you can add a nice graphic link by pressing the enter key after a url that is the only element of any given line.

On a mobile device, however, you’re limited to the rather crude “link” function. You have to type something act as the title of your link, then highlight it and select the little paperclip icon. A text box will then pop up that you can paste the link url to.
