It's instructive and depressing to watch the evolution of some of these hate groups and the political leaders they ally with.

You mentioned Libs of TikTok, aka Chaya Raichik, and her evolution is startling.

A couple of years ago, if you'd asked her, she would have said (she did say) that her primary objective was protecting children from so-called groomers.

But in the last year, she's gone straight up anti-gay ... anti-LGBTQ anything. And her followers are, well ... following right along.

One of her latest big tweets had nothing to do with protecting children. She simply expressed disgust that a 20-year-old gay man made a voguing video set on the deck of the naval warship where he works.

Apparently, this young sailor is a high achiever. His Navy command have complimented his work and promoted him ahead of schedule. He's popular on his ship, where he works hard to promote morale.

No controversy, zero, has ever arisen inside the Navy regarding this guy.

But Chaya is leading an online charge to smother him with hateful homophobic insults. For no reason except that he's gay and out of the closet.

This is a woman who is supported by some of the highest levels of Republican leadership. Donald Trump has praised her openly, and he's far from the only Republican leader to do so.

This is raw hate. Undisguised. Unapologetic.

And it's getting worse.
