It's increasingly common to see religious leaders shouting about the necessity of enforcing Biblical marriage — one man one woman, etc.

As you pointed out so well, the obvious response to that is, "What delusional world are you living in where a Bible defines marriage the way you define marriage?"

I think most educated people know that biblical marriage is not what right-wing preachers say it is.

But the thing is, and here's a deeper point — most of these right-wing preachers know it too. They say what they say anyway, despite knowing what they know.

Makes you wonder about right-wing Christians all the more.
