It's hard to imagine how trans people in Missouri would be able to comply with the onerous, expensive requirements the AG is trying to impose. Legally speaking, the attorney general is on more than shaky ground trying to impose medical practices on physicians, especially when they appear to contradict standards of care set by the physicians' professional associations.

Is this a publicity stunt?

Perhaps. And perhaps the courts will eventually slap the AG down for overreach. But in the meantime, trans lives in Missouri are being thrown into chaos.

Human lives are being thrown into chaos.

And something tells me the AG doesn't give a flip about the human beings involved.
