It's funny, but I was just thinking about crop tops on boys and realized that when I was in high school boys wore them. Only we didn't call them crop tops. Athletes, mostly football players, would take one of their practice jerseys or even a nicer jersey and cut away the bottom 8 or 12 inches. This was mostly done I guess to be more comfortable in hot and humid Midwest weather, and you'd see kids doing it outdoors more than at school.

But I don't think anybody thought twice about it. My brother was a jock, and he ran around like that all the time.

Fashions change, and I don't think boys do that anymore, but it's interesting that nobody in my day ever accused boys of being immodest for showing off their six packs, which in reality is what most of them were doing. My brother certainly was. 🤣

But a girl with shorts or a skirt that revealed just a little too much leg? A girl revealing her belly button? Gasp! Never!
