It’s amazing how often powerful haters are willing to use lawyers to silence people who call out their hate. I stood up to the Salvation Army a couple years ago after truthfully calling them out for the way they treat queer people, and urging people never to give money to them.

Given they’ve taken to running media propaganda campaigns about how lovely they are to queer people these days, and given how that is generally false, I felt it was important to point out how very often and how very much they lie.

They felt it was important to slam me with cease and desist notices from a high-priced law firm.

At first I ignored them, then I sent them a simple message. Sue me. I dare you. Watch this story blow up and watch it shed light on your actual practices.

I never heard from them again.
