It’s actually quite nice to work there much of the time, Dennett. We were right off the Park and close the portion they named “Strawberry Fields,” in honor of John Lennon. Two major museums in walking distance. And lovely, tree-lined blocks.

New York can be very hectic, especially for people who are trying to commute in and out for work. But if you actually live there, it’s a different story.

You’re not rushing to Grand Central or Penn Station to catch a commuter train home. You just catch a subway and take a fast ride to wherever you’re going.

Or in my case, in that neighborhood, a short walk to a restaurant after work, or maybe Lincoln Center for a concert.

It’s nice!
