It would work for me not voting for someone who doesn't support LGBTQ people, especially trans people. I will not participate in my own oppression.

This is not unusual for me. Meaning, I'm old enough to remember and be accustomed to Democratic politicians being as evil and bigoted as Republican politicians. I am not a loyal Democrat, despite loathing the Republican Party.

I'll vote for Democratic candidates if and only if they support queer equality. My vote is not a matter to be taken for granted.
