It took me a long time to realize that some people don’t experience sexual attraction as easily and strongly as I do. I used to take it for granted that we were all just sort of the same that way. Look at a hot person who fits into your gender orientation and general preferences, and BOOM. You feel really sexual.

Reading stories like yours is what helped me understand that for a significant percentage of people, that sort of experience is pretty rare.
