It sounds like an absolutely lovely book, and as soon as I finish this comment, I'm heading over to Amazon to buy it. (Sorry, there isn't a single bookstore within an hour's drive of where I live. It's Amazon or nothing.)

It's really discouraging for me to note that this book would not be included many school libraries in the United States, not even in high school libraries.

I'm working on a story right now in honor of national Banned Books Week (which is this week), and let me tell you, it's a depressing story.
