It seems this kind of AI writing generator bases output on existing work it already "knows" about, and I'm supposing there's probably a bias toward commercial, popular books and films, which tend to be pretty darn heteronormative even when they're about LGBTQ people.

This is indeed something people are going to need to be conscious about if we want writing-AI to do a better job.
