It seems it’s a family affair. Her father is a senior leader of POP, and her husband also holds a position of high leadership. Her siblings are members and have married other members.

I wrote in an article this morning that I pity her children the most, especially if any of them (as is not statistically unlikely) turn out to be LGBTQ.

POP’s position on that is clear. You get conversion therapy or we shun you.

It’s all very sad. And tragically infuriating at the same time.
