It might spark some outrage, but what I’m seeing on social media is that ordinary Catholics are going into their ordinary denial mode. Pretending it isn’t happening or isn’t very significant if it is.

And on Medium, this story is getting less response than my average story, when I genuinely thought it would be a Blockbuster.

It’s so frustrating and anguishing. It’s hard to see and understand exactly how low we LGBTQ people really are. People either don’t care or won’t care about us.

I really thought a story about the Catholic hierarchy trying to block people from helping suicidal LGBTQ folks would create an enormous stink.

Nope.
