Amen. Prominent LGBTQ advocates are doing their best to stay loyal to the White House and the Democratic machine right now, but privately, lots of grumbling is going on. Lots of people are asking why the White House and leaders like Nancy Pelosi aren't forcibly countering anti-trans narratives and poison like grooming rhetoric and so forth.

We kind of feel hung out to dry, if you want to know the truth.

It gets old feeling like we're the Democratic Party's "dirty little secret."

It also feels like a missed opportunity. Why isn't the Democratic establishment working hard to energize young voters and traditional liberals? Why aren't they energizing people who are passionate about civil rights and who would swarm to the polls to defend them?

The Biden White House and Pelosi's Congressional leadership seem united in a strategy to play to the center.

They're going to get crushed. The handwriting is already on the wall. They're going to get annihilated in November.

Somebody needs to find the gonads to lead with bold courage and engaged Democrats who want to fight for positive change.
