Isn't it funny how when you go to a club, the music changes depending on who's there? I don't mean the general style. I mean the presence or absence of courage anthems like this one you're writing about.

In my experience anyway, such anthems are not all that likely to play at clubs where cis/straight people are the primary crowd.

But go to a queer club, and no matter what the main style of dance music is there, you're going to get anthems once in a while — about courage, survival, and overcoming. And the crowd might just go a little wild when the first notes ring out.

I guess we relate to and appreciate this kind of music, because it reflects so many of our shared experiences.
