Interesting, isn't it, how language can be used to change reality in people's heads? Revolutions and revolts are for noble people fighting for change for the better. Riots are for the ignorant, unwashed masses.

You don't have to explicitly denigrate people by saying what you think about them. All you have to do is choose words with connotations that say it for you.
