Indeed! YA novels I usually full of cis straight sexuality. Not that it's graphic usually, but cis/straight sexuality is often the beating heart of YA novels. This isn't so mysterious, given that the teenage years are when people are first discovering and getting comfortable with their sexuality. That's why teenagers want stories about it.

Only when queer sexuality raises its head, even demurely, the book banners lose their minds.
