Indeed, what’s going on in Texas right now is is frightening and authoritarian beyond belief. Trans kids and their families are in the crosshairs of extremist government bullies. State officials are going to be knocking on doors and starting investigations on families just because kids are trans.

I’m really sorry about what’s going on in Ukraine, not least because LGBTQ people there, who live in relative freedom now, are about to become subject to an extremist homophobic regime. One of the reasons the world is upset about Russia expanding its influence is that Russia doesn’t respect human rights and diversity.
