Indeed, Tracy Aston. I get so sick of seeing ghe Pope being afforded exaggerated levels of respect simply because he represents a religion.

He’s a perfect example of what Sam Harris is talking about in his “End of Faith” when he talks about religious ideas being elevated to a position of privilege over other human ideas.

Outside of the Catholic Church, Francis would be seen by almost any decent human being as a filthy bigot.

But because he’s a religous leader, people bow down to his evil ideas.

It’s sickening.
