One of the biggest dangers of right-wing American Christianity, which means most American Christianity at the moment, is its strong propensity for denying evidence-based knowledge. We see it with Covid, with the effects of racism, with disinformation about immigration, and especially with denial of easily understood facts and evidence about LGBTQ people and issue.
