Indeed, Norway and Germany come to mind, both with official religions. Germany has more than one. But in both countries (and I can say this from direct personal experience about Germany, having lived in Berlin for 5 years) religious practice is negligible compared to the United States, and government endorsement of oppressive or marginalizing Christian practices is simply unthinkable.
