Indeed, my latest story is about the Christian owner of a billion-dollar aerospace business who says the purpose of his business is glorifying God.
Because of that, he refuses to let company health insurance cover any transgender-related care. Not only that, but he's partnered with an anti-LGBTQ legal group to fight the matter all the way up to the Supreme Court if he has to.
Do you see the irony? He claims to be trying to spread the glory of God, but by defying the law to deny healthcare to people who need it, he's actually encouraging people to hate Christians even more.
I wish that more liberal or progressive Christians would speak up on matters like this to show the world that cruel people like this business owner do not speak for Christianity.
Unfortunately, liberal and progressive Christians tend to take a line of getting along with everyone and not speaking ill of anyone.
This is not helpful.
