Indeed, I have a lot of sensory-processing difficulties. I can rarely enjoy a film, for example, because video if usually just too much for me. But people often seem to want to believe I'm blowing them off when I don't go along with some enthusiastic recommendation or another.

But a bigger challenge is my difficulty recognizing and understanding sarcasm, other similar humor, and implicit, between-the-lines meaning. It's not that I can't do it; it's just very difficult, and I often get it wrong.
