Indeed.

The only interaction I ever had with anyone who worked for Quora was negative.

I hate to sound hyperbolic, but the Quora hierarchy treated me like shit. They really did.

Despite the fact that thousands of people valued and lauded the hard work I put in on Quora every day, seven days a week, all I ever got from anyone who worked at Quora was disrespect.

Not one second of consideration or appreciation was ever afforded me.

Here on Medium, on the other hand, I’ve been blown away by consideration.

I got an email from a Medium staff member telling me how much she liked one of my stories.

Medium had another one of my stories professionally recorded and featured as an audio offering.

The difference is just night and day.

I’m glad you’re encouraging people to leave Quora, Emily Zamora.

I don’t know all the reasons why, but Quora is not now, if it ever was, a good place for writers to work.
