Indeed! As you know, roughly 80% of nominated Prism & Pen articles were Boosted in July, while in August we're barely seeing any boosted stories — for no reason this post makes clear. I got an email yesterday from the Boost coordinator at Medium telling us nominators that we could expect guidance today that would help to understand what's going on. (Other nominators have reported drops in Boost rates, but as far as I know none have reported the drastic drop-off P&P just started experiencing.)

Well, I don't feel guided. This post has given me no explanation for why our stories have suddenly stopped being Boosted. This post gives me no guidance for how you and I can edit stories and work with our writers to qualify their stories for Boosting.

I don't understand the lack of clarity and transparency. I'm deeply, deeply disappointed in this post. I thought we were going to get guidance and help, but instead we got almost Nothing Useful At All.

That doesn't make me feel like a valued colleague. It makes me feel like it cog in a machine instead of a valued human being.

So much for being a team member! Team members get real, solid, informative communication from their colleagues.
