Indeed, and my next story is going to be about a young woman who killed herself after years of “counseling” by Catholic priests nuns who urged her to a life of celibacy rather than physical intimacy with another woman or other women.

For years, the church denied they had engaged in this sort of conversion therapy, insisted they had not met secretly with the girl when she was a teenager, behind her parents back. But the priests and nuns were lying, as they so often do in the pursuit of their toxic beliefs and practices.

The young woman’s parents just released her diaries proving how extensively the priests and nuns lied, and how extensively their “counseling” tortured her.

I look forward to helping her parents spread the word and show the world that these beliefs have to stop, that priests and nuns must stop hurting us LGBTQ people in the name of vilifying physical pleasure.
