Indeed, although at least in the United States and Canada, the Anglican Church in recent decades has been a genuine force for decency. That makes it all the more shocking for us on this side of the Atlantic to watch the leader of the Anglican Communion go into full-on Darth Vader mode.

Anglicans I know here are gasping and reeling at Justin Welby's audacious evil. His cruel of the Anglican Church bears almost no resemblance to the church here.
