I’m trying to imagine the perspective of the trans woman who is also a rape survivor. How is she feeling now? She, like far too many trans women, was raped, suffered a heinously violating sexual assault.

I’m sure she’s traumatized and having a hard time coping, like all humans who are raped. And now she’s being told she doesn’t deserve support, then she doesn’t belong in group therapy. Because she’s a threat.

That makes me cry.
