I’m sure you know much more about this than I do, but it seems to me that the Hindu concept of atman and Brahma is much the same idea as John’s conception of Logos. At the core of every human, or perhaps as the essence of every human, lies an atman, an irreducible spirit of the cosmos that reaches for and flows like water in a well into the universal spirit of Brahma.
