I'm sorry, but you're misrepresenting things. It's not that my feelings against the Church are strong and well-founded. That's a rather euphemistic way of putting things.

The direct way of putting it is that I'm deeply sad and depressed to be stigmatized as immoral and defective, to know the respected institution pushes that vicious hatred.

It's 2024, and I honestly thought when I was young that this kind of vicious hatred against us would have ended by now.

But absolutely sickening levels of homophobia are still pushed by so many institutions, not limited to but certainly including including the Catholic Church. I mean clearly, nuns and priests are disgusting pieces of homophobic shit.

But people embrace their sickening institution anyway, meaning they embrace the homophobia.

Meaning they embrace treating me (and you for that matter) like shit. They insist we're depraved and disordered!

And people just accept that. They just go along with the hatred.

That makes me want to sob and scream at the same.

I know I'm not the depraved monster that Catholic nuns and priests insist that I am.

I just wish people would join me demanding an end to the hate!
