I’m so sorry you had to experience all that rejection from religious people and institutions. As a cis came in, I feel much the same way.

It doesn’t make any sense to me that people who say they love God give it so much time and energy to persecuting members of gender and sexual minorities, to transforming a religion they say is about love into a relation that for marginalized people is truly about hate.
