I’m so sorry, Bruce. I feel much the same way sometimes. I’m not 60 years old yet, but I write stories on Medium all the time about old friends in my adventures in New York City. Writing about those people and those days brings me a lot of happiness and joy.

But I feel pain sometimes when people ask me whatever became of this person or that person.

Because the harsh reality is that most of them died a long long time ago.

The plague took a terrible toll and Covid is triggering for many of us.

It’s okay to acknowledge that, I think. We have to, in a way.

I wish you much peace, and I hope you stay in touch.
