I'm so grateful that your ancestor had the grace and decency to call out the immorality of the Catholic Church's intolerance.

Thanks for sharing her inspiring story! The world needs more people like her in the face of the Church insisting that we queer people commit acts of great depravity and then we are intrinsically disordered, or in the case of trans people even destroyers of the universe.

It astonishes me that so very many people are okay with this sickening institution. It's hard to take sometimes, knowing that so many people believe those horrible things about me. The pain, fear, and grief of it are almost impossible to describe!

It astonishes me that so many people think it's wrong to call out evil, intolerant faith. We need more people to follow the example of your great grandmother.
