I don't know if you follow Adam, Diabetic Cyborg, who has for several years been sharing on Medium his struggles with diabetes and progressive multiple sclerosis, but it's much the same story.

He often can't get the treatment he needs because he's disabled, can't work, and can't afford it.

You and he are both examples of everything that's wrong about how we restrict access to healthcare in the United States.
