I'm remembering a time back in the mid '90s when a Wall Street broker friend of mine gave me a tour of the New York Stock Exchange. We stood for quite a while in the visitors galley above the trading floor, which was a lot more energetic and crowded than it is these days. (Electronic trading has changed things quite a bit, physically.)

Anyway, I don't know how many people were on the floor but it was packed. Hundreds? Guess how many Black faces I saw?

Zero.
